Tuna Mayo Onigiri Recipe

A simple onigiri recipe!


Recipe:

  • 1 cup of rice

  • Rice vinegar 2 tbsp

  • Sugar 2 tsp

  • Salt 1/8 tsp

  • Canned tuna

  • 1/2 Onion

  • Mayo

  • Nori sheets


Steps:

Cook rice.

Mix in sugar, salt, and vinegar while rice is still hot. Taste and adjust


Finely mince onions, mix into tuna

Mash and add desired mayo amount

Add hot sauce if desired


Put rice into a mold to cover the bottom

Add a glob of filling

Add rice on top and press down

Place on top of nori sheet, fold bottom half up, tuck in corners
