Ramen Eggs Recipe from March Comes in Like a Lion

A ramen egg recipe adapted from March comes in like a lion, or Sangatsu no lion.


Ingredients :

  • 6 eggs

  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 1 tbsp sake

  • 1 tps granulated sugar

  1. Take eggs straight out of the fridge

  2. Poke holes on the flat bottom of eggs using a thumbtack

  3. Put in boiling water for 8 minutes, swirl them around for the first few minutes

  4. Take out of water and directly into ice bath

  5. Mix the marinade ingredients in a separate bowl

  6. Peel eggs and put into ziplock bag with the marinade covering all the eggs

  7. Refrigerate overnight and enjoy!
